Join Drawn2Art this summer for a variety of camps that are designed to spark a desire for future investigation and learning as a young artist (ages 4 - 17).
Camps are offered half or full day each week, alternating camp themes, including: Clay Sculpture: Students are taught basic sculpting techniques to create & paint some of their favorite cartoon characters.
Choose from cartoon or classic clay camps! Anime & Cartooning: Learn the basic fundamentals of traditional & Japanese style cartooning. Create original Animé characters, including your very own Animé style self-portrait! Figure Drawing and Portraiture: Learn to draw 3-dimensional heads & figures using simple step-by-step techniques. Awaken the Force: Become the art master of your favorite space characters. Learn to drawn and sculpt BB8, Chewbacca, and more! Wizarding World (NEW): Embrace your inner witch or wizard (muggles invited along as well). Use sculpey, paper, pencils, and colors to create your favorite characters and monstrous (or quite fuzzy and harmless) beasts.
Other camps offered are Woodland Creatures, Under the Sea, Pirates and Princesses, Monster, and Palette of Art (which offers a different medium and project each day). Check your local studio to see which camps are being offered! We also offer a year-round drawing and painting program for students ages 4-adult. One of the best place to learn painting for the kids. They encourage each child's creativity and help every student to reach their potential. There are some great classes here for kids of all ages. They do everything from color pencils, pastels, water color, charcoal, oil painting, and even clay sculpting. The teachers are not only helpful and patient, but you can clearly see they love what they do.---Eric W.
