Camp Wildfolk
Camp Wildfolk is a project-based, child-centered, and growth-focused Day Camp for pre-K to 8th graders (Guides-in-Training leadership program for 7th-10th graders). It's "old school" camp spirit, meets a modern, progressive approach to youth development.
Campers are given the autonomy to influence their experience by choosing 3 electives- something active, brainy, and artsy. The electives are process-focused, explorative, and wildly fun. Some electives include escape rooms, cooking, nature, sports, theater, science, filmmaking, robotics, video game design, 3-D printing, pinatas, woodworking, candle-making, lego mindstorms, dance, yoga, fashion, art, and so much more!
And the Guides are true role-models, joyful and compassionate youth development professionals that lead from the heart. Beyond the wildly fun activities, Wildfolk excels in the HOW and WHY in which they do things. Camp is mindful and intentional- every moment supporting a deeper purpose to benefit camper's learning and growth.
Camp days at Wildfolk are filled with special rituals and traditions that campers can't wait to return to, year after year. Their Camp Intentions, The 7 C's, are ingrained in everything they do: *Community-Minded * Connected * Creative * Curious * Collaborative * Compassionate * Can-Doers * Camp Wildfolk is a hands-on, project-based adventure where kids team-build, explore, create, innovate, and get to be a little wild.
