Camp del Corazon

Camp del Corazon Inc. is a non-profit corporation that operates as a 501(c)(3), offering a medically supervised residential summer camp free of charge for children aged 7-17 living with heart disease. In addition to the camping program, we provide various other programs for these children and their families. Our entire staff comprises of volunteers, and all the proceeds are invested in the camp and its programming.
 
Our camping program is provided free of charge to ease the financial burden on families already grappling with significant medical expenses. These children often miss school due to frequent doctor's appointments and hospital stays, which is why we aim to provide an environment that fosters support, self-esteem, and socialization opportunities that are typically unavailable to them.
 
Studies indicate that our camp helps to boost the confidence and self-esteem of children, and our hope is to provide life-changing experiences that are beyond words. Many of our young participants return year after year to relive the unique experiences they can't find anywhere else.
